Frequently Asked Questions

What is the difference between H13 and H14 HEPA filters?

H13 filters ≥99.95% of particles at MPPS; H14 filters ≥99.995% — ten times fewer particles passing. H14 is recommended for ISO 6–7 pharmaceutical areas, H13 for ISO 8 and general clean areas.

How often should I replace HEPA filters?

Depends on your dust load and pre-filtration. Typical life is 3–5 years when pre-filters are maintained properly. We recommend monitoring pressure drop: replace when it reaches 2–2.5× the initial value or on your qualification schedule.

Can I use a gasket-sealed filter instead of gel-seal?

For ISO 8–7 rooms, gasket sealing is sufficient and easier to install. For ISO 5 and higher, gel-seal (knife-edge) is the standard because it achieves lower leakage. We will recommend based on your class and leak-test requirements.

Do you provide leak testing and certificates?

Yes — every filter can be supplied with a factory scan-test certificate, and we support on-site DOP/PAO leak testing for your qualification records.
