What to send for a galvanized coil quotation
- Thickness and whether it is base metal (BMT) or total coated thickness (TCT)
- Width, coil inner diameter and maximum coil weight
- Zinc coating mass in g/m² (total, both sides), for example 275 g/m²
- Grade and standard, for example DX51D+Z / GB/T 2518, or the equivalent your project accepts
- Surface treatment or spangle requirement, if any
- Quantity in tonnes and destination port

What galvanized coil grade do you supply?
A typical coil we quote is DX51D+Z to GB/T 2518. Other grades and standards can be requested; the grade offered is confirmed in the quotation together with its mill test certificate.
What sizes are available?
Common examples are coil 1.0 × 1000 mm with a 508 mm inner diameter and about 5 t per coil, and strip 2.0 × 175 mm with 275 g/m² zinc (SC100, GB/T 2518-2019). Other thicknesses and widths are quoted on request.
How should I state the zinc coating?
State the coating mass in g/m², total for both sides, for example 275 g/m². Our coating mass guide explains how this relates to coating thickness.
Does every shipment come with a mill test certificate?
Yes. Every steel order is supplied with the mill test certificate for the grade and standard confirmed in the quotation.
What is the lead time and shipping port?
Common sizes ship from stock in a few days; other sizes follow the mill schedule. Coils ship from Tianjin port, and the lead time is stated in each quotation.
